My LO took this class last year (when he was 2), and it was fun, educational AND inexpensive.

I'd say wait a year or so, and some say parents should wait until their kids are school age. But I do believe I saw kids younger than 2 when we were there. And it's so much fun & such a nice bonding experience...

I think Will would have fun, but I kind of doubt a 7-month old can learn to swim. We're PARA members, so I might just start to take him to the pool occasionally during open swim to splash around and wait for the actual lessons. I'm dreading wearing a swimsuit in public.

I've refused to wear a swimsuit for years, SarahMay. I've always hated the things - even when I was thin, and despite the fact that I've been an excellent swimmer since I learned at age three ...
Anyway, I made my husband do the actual swimming for the PARA class; I just came along to cheer them on and take pictures. |
