Jack's mommy

Jack's new habit: opening the zipper on the couch cushions and pillows and pulling out the stuffing. I tried to tell him no several times yesterday and he just went right back to it. It's not realistic for me to hide my couch cushions. What's a mama to do? Confused

Can you find or create something that has a zipper and stuffing that is "ok" for him to explore? Maybe an old pillow stuffed with cloths or something? When he tries to unzip the couch cushions, you could tell him "No, those are mommy's pillows, here is Jack's pillow." Then, he can be as creative as he wants with it...as long as he cleans up the mess!! The novelty should wear off soon. That's the only thought I have.

Ben is obsessed wtih ANYHTHING that has buttons right now..the rain gauge, remotes, carbon monoxide detector.... I have cleaned up old cell phones and remotes for him to play with, but he only wants the same ones we use. We've tried to fake him out a few times (pretend to use the "play ones" then give them to him). Hasn't really worked. :-)
