I'm having my Christmas Party soon. Things are so hectic and I am SO behind. It's just family, so it is very casual. I wrote a little poem for my invitations. I thought it was funny and so I'll share it here. I don't have a title for it, though. Any suggestions?
The invitations are late, But I hope you can make Time for some cheer With those who are dear. With decorations I stress, And, The house--what a mess! The gifts I should wrap, But with babe in my lap? So, as the party comes near, I feel panic and fear Of a houseful of guests Without a nibble at best! I pray you can come. To Sam’s I will run! I hope you’re not in the mood For homemade Christmas Food! |
