I'm all about recycling, here! HA HA I hate washing towels. The load is huge. They take longer to dry. Not to mention the folding and putting away.
What do you think? You are clean when you use it! I will use the same towel a few times before getting a new one. My daughter does the same. My older son will not. I will tell him to at least use it twice and he says he will, but that hasn't happened yet. (I think it has more to do with not wanting to hang it up than anything.) I'm tempted to put him on a towel allowance!
We use ours several times before getting a new one. It is too hard to wash the clothes we already get dirty without adding that many towels to the mix.

I'm like you, FM. I keep "my towel" hanging on a peg behind the bathroom door & only wash it every few showers. My LO also has a towel that's washed every few days. My hubby, on the other hand, goes through tons of towels. So does my teenager. And I go through at least a dozen washcloths a week, by myself. So we can't win for losing when it comes to laundry! But I think I mostly "recycle" because I have a favorite towel (it's really big & soft), and I hate when it's being washed and I can't use it.

LOL Guilty! I use my towel a few times before washing it. You're right, we are clean when we use it so why create more laundry? Makes sense to me. My DH does the same. With Jack, however, I get a new one each time because I stick the corners in his ears to get any extra gunk in there and wipe my hands on it after applying diaper rash cream, etc. But he doesn't take a bath every day so it all evens out.
Okay I am the odd one on this. I wash after each use. It's not that i think it's gross or anything, i've just always washed them. I'm the same way with kitchen towels and clothing. I probably over wash everything!!!
