This is a bit funny, alot embarrassing, and very preventable. When sending your precious little boys to school for the first time, please make sure they ALWAYS have a change of cloths in their packs and that you teach them to tuck their "noodles" in after they potty even if they can't snap or buckle their pants.

Here is why I mention:
3 or 4 times over the last few weeks I have heard crying coming from the boys bathroom at school and I have enountered a couple of things. Either the boy has messed himself and there is no change of cloths, so they are sent to the school nurse to be dressed in whatever is on hand, which could include flowered pants. Also, if their "noodle" is hanging out, we are forbidden to touch the child at all to help them and it becomes a challenge to get them dealt with without showing off their equipment.

I mention this because I notice there are alot of boy moms on this site, and I bet you NEVER thought you would have to think about things like this when they were born, but it happens all the time in school!

That's sooo funny! A bit embarassing too, but funny! I never would have thought that would be an issue. You poor teachers for not being able to help these children who are probably very upset. I understand why you can't touch them though, and it is just a shame that a few rotten apples have ruined it for the whole bunch. Anyway, thanks for the tip. I will be sure mine knows what to do!

When my older son was in preschool and kindergarten, I always sent him to school in pull-up pants. No zippers or snaps. I think little boys in jeans are cute, but he didn't wear them to school. It's just too much hassle.

I remember his pre-school required a change of clothes for each season. I don't think we ever had to use them.

He did wear jeans some in lower school, but he never liked them. He is 15 now, and doesn't own a pair of jeans. I've tried, but he just won't wear them. Khakis only... no cargo pants, either. The only jeans-like pants he will wear are khaki colored Carhart work pants. Thank goodness I found them. At least they don't need ironing!!!!
