Should it be Cypress Creek? South Bluff? Oakwood? What name do you like? You can choose from eight.
For parents of students at the new south K-8 school created by Tuscaloosa City Schools, the deadline to help name it is tomorrow. Students and parents of students who will attend the new school are invited to vote on a new name at www.tuscaloosacityschools.com. Click on the survey form on the left side of the screen. You can also give input on a mascot and school colors. The new south elementary school won't open until 2009, but it will open its doors this August at its temporary home in the former Tuscaloosa Middle School building.   |
