I need help planning my son's 5th birthday party. It is in February and I really don't want to have it at home because my house is not big enough for all the guests. Any suggestions, we have done Fun Factory(wasn't impressed)and Tumbling Tides.

I wish I could give you some advice, but I need some myself!
My toddler's third birthday is about two weeks away, and we'll be having a little cake-and-ice cream thing here at our house (we went way overboard way too early with my eldest son, and it got a little crazy. So we're gonna try to keep our toddler's b-day as low-key as possible for as long as possible). But we'll have other toddlers over for the first time this year, and I'm totally stressing about games, parking (we have a tiny front yard on a very busy road!!) and what to do with the kids' parents. Help!! |

When we have had parties at home for my other two kids we just let the kids play without any organized games, but they have bdays during warmer months so they play outside. and maybe that is why I dread home parties during the cold months, too many kids and adults and not enough room. My house would wind up a total disaster area.

Tumbling Tides is awesome! The parents have as much if not more fun than the kids! They have set up an obstacle course for the kids, then they can play on the gymnastic equipment. The best part is the pit, the foam squares with a trampoline on the bottom. We might do our party there again, but we have been to so many parties there, I was looking for something else.

Tumbling Tides is on 9th Court.

That does sound pretty cool! Maybe I'll look into it for next year.
