I'm afraid I'm going to have to change our first meeting, ladies.

We just bought a house and we are moving Feb. 29th. It has all happened so fast. So I will be knee deep in boxes Feb. 27th. I hope you all understand. Another mom emailed me to say she just found out she cannot make it. And I know another mom has her son's birthday celebration. So I'm thinking it will be better for a bunch of us if we push this into March.

So let's work on setting another date in March. Did we decide the final Wednesday of the month was a good day? So...March 26th? Same time? Same place? How is that? Please let me know. We'll get this thing going, I promise!

And now you'll have another whole month to read "Atonement." For ladies interested in joining our book group, feel free to pick up the book and start reading! You have plenty of time now to start from the beginning before we meet for the first time.

I will be in North Carolina. Oh well, maybe I'll make the next one. I swear I hardly ever go anywhere! I don't know how I just happen to be going out of town both times we've planned to meet for the book club!

It doesn't have to be the 26th. I just thought everyone wanted a Wednesday. If that doesn't work for some people, let's make it a different day.

I can do any evening other than Tuesdays (we have swim until 6:30). If it's later than 6:30, though, I can even do Tuesdays.

I will be making a few trips back to Tallahassee through May 1, so why don't you guys go ahead and schedule, and I'll make it if I can. Any night works for me.

I'll be gone starting March 21 and won't be back until Sunday the 30th. And Wednesdays are normally FANTASTIC for me, because it's hubby's night off.
So don't worry about me this time. But I'm looking forward to the next one!

Perhaps we should move it up to the week before so we can all be there. I'm out of town until the 19th.
How about Thursday the 20th? Does that work for anyone? Just for the first meeting. And then perhaps we'll go back to Wednesdays or whatever we decide works for everyone.

OK, let's take a vote! We want the best turnout. So we'll go with whatever day gives us that. Please say which of these 3 days works for you. I'll see what works for most people and then decide a day.
You'll notice I've skipped the last week of March since that seemed to be a bad week for a lot of people. At the first meeting, we can decide what works for everyone (like the last Wed. of the month or whatever).

Oh, and I should probably get reading again! LOL. With the move, I've been a slacker.
