And I know there were a few who wanted to get in on choosing the second book...

I can come that day! Wed is actually a really good day for me. I get off work 30 minutes early, so I can cook and eat dinner before I come. I am soooo excited to have an hour or more with other adults while not at work!

OK, so I count 4 of us right now: DM, RM, Moozle and me. Right?
Anyone else game for Wednesday night? 6:30 pm at Panera?

A reminder: you didn't have to read the 1st book to come. We'll chat a bit about the book but then also choose the next book and figure out our game plan for the future (how to choose our books, best night to meet, where to meet, etc.)

Alright - there may be 5! I haven't read the book - but I want to be in on the next one. Wednesdays are usually really good for me because hubbby gets home from work early and that means I can sneak out of the house maybe. Plus - you had me at Panera!
Either way I want to know what the next book is and get started on it so I can be prepared for next time.

Oh yeah, Atonement. I knew it was something that was made into a movie. I forgot to look for it while I was out, so I definitely can't read it before Wed... not that I'm that fast a reader, but some books are faster than others. I doubt this one is a quickie.

Hey all I just introduced myself on the new here page but I just wanted to say hi. I have a 5 month old son Jackson and just joined the club. I just wanted to say that I love to read! I would definitely like to be a part of the book club it sounds like tons of fun (plus a chance to get out of the house) but I probably won't be able to come tomorrow just cause its such short notice but i'll come next time
