I was looking forward to seeing you guys tonight, bummer. But it's fine that it is easier to have it later. I won't be able to come the week of the 6-12 of April, cause I will be at DisneyWorld. Would it be easier to do it on Friday or Saturday evening. Just throwing out an idea. Or how about on Wednesday or Thursday, April 2nd or 3rd? I think we will all be in town then, right?
|

No, I'll be gone through the week. But Wednesday (or Tuesday) is always best for me (when I'm not out of town!).

No, I'm wrong. I WILL be back by the first of April. I was looking at the wrong week on my calendar!

Kristi, Thanks for trying to reschedule to include us all! Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it the first week of April. BUT, I have a good excuse!....I'm defending my dissertation! So, you guys go ahead and plan it without me. I hate being so difficult! I never have anything to do normally!!

Maybe we should just put off the whole idea for a few months, and try again later in the year.
We don't seem to have enough people who are willing and able to do it, and it's almost impossible to get everyone together. I'll do my best to go to a meeting if we get one scheduled within the next few weeks, though, so just let me know what y'all decide. |

Good luck on your dissertation!! You're almost there!
And, I know it is getting frustrating, ladies, but I think we should push ahead and meet sometime in April. It doesn't matter if there's only 3 or 4 of us. It will still be great to meet and discuss the book we all took the time to read. FYI, there are some other moms who told me they are interested in joining up once this book is put to rest. So I am optimistic that we'll have a nice little group once we get going. And it can only grow from there as we have more and more members signing up each month. And, like I said, we will NOT be going back and forth like this once we're up and rolling. We'll have a set day and time each month (or bi-monthly, whatever we decide) and if a mom can make it, great. If she can't, then she can't. So we won't be trying to accommodate everyone's schedule every time. It's this first meeting that is proving to be a tough one to plan because we don't yet have structure. But we'll get there! And I look forward to a fun group and lively discussions and many great books in our future! Let's get through March and then I'll throw out some dates in April and see if we can't get as many of us together as we can. ![]() |

You're right, Kristi. We've just got to get this thing started! I'm good with whatever y'all choose.
We're leaving today, though, so you guys probably won't hear much from me over the next several days. Try not to be too sad! |

I'm sorry I couldn't make it last week ladies (but Orlando was a blast!!), but I'm glad you decided to wait.
I'm pretty flexible in April. I have a conference in Bham on the 3rd, but I could still make it back in time. The only dates I CANNOT make it in April are the 4-7. Other than that, I'm good and I will be there! |

All right, ladies.
Let's make this happen! I'll try to keep this simple. Shall we do the last Wednesday of the month, as was originally suggested? So that would be Wednesday, April 30 at 6:30 p.m. at Panera in Midtown Village. Ladies who read Atonement (and those who didn't but want to participate, meet everyone and help pick the next book)....who can make it? ![]() |

I can be there! No problem.Sign me up!
