I don't know if it's on the list, but I think our next book should be "Then we Came to the End," by Joshua Ferris. It's edgey yet funny & written from a VERY unique perspective. And it has something to say yet isn't too offensive (it's one of the rare books that my mother loved as much as I did). It's set in an advertising office and some of its observations (about co-workers, cubicles, bosses, life...) are SOO accurate and hilarious. But it's about more than work.

Of course, I'm a little biased because I've met Andre and interviewed him. Great writer. And great great guy! I have a cool story about that interview that I will tell you guys at book club.
Memory Keeper's Daughter!! That's the one I brought up at the pool - Kristi, my friend read it for book club and said it was great. A definite tear jerker though.
Jennifer Mom to Anabelle: 3/20/04 Mom to Amelia: 12/20/06 Bitsy the greyhound ... our first baby, and forever in our hearts
My MIL told me it was awesome and I was in the book store yesterday and it was sitting there so I grabbed it. If we don't decide on it for the book club I'm going to sneak it in between books and read it anyway. Just call me a reading fool over here. LOL
