OK... I went to a meeting at my daughter's school yesterday; and afterwards, let my LO (23mos)run around in the library with a bunch of 14yo boys. My LO had the time of his life and the big boys seemed to be enjoying him, as well.
When we got home, HOWEVER, my LO gets out of the car and starts running around in a circle laughing and saying something. I move in closer to better understand and I find that he is saying "stupid, stupid, stupid" over and over--acting like it is the funniest word he had ever heard. And, guess what he said first thing when he woke up this morning? "Stupid, stupid, stupid". I consider all the words that he says that need interpretation... this one is clear as a bell! LOL
I know he had to have heard it from them! I'm trying to ignore it and hope that he forgets it! I certainly don't want to bring attention to it.
Yeah, and if he heard it from the "big kids," it might become his all-time favorite!! oh no, FM!... Like you said, though - just ignore it and it will eventually go away. Probably.
