Jack's mommy |
This is an interesting read. More about moms who juggle work and family and how they do it. Are they Supermoms?

I am a lucky working mom.
Not only have I had great bosses who understand that I have three children and they are my priority, but I also have an unbelievable network of family and friends who have come through in a crunch for me. I don't know what we would do without that help. I also know that it's not always easy - and I totally empathize with the woman in the article who was dropping her son off at daycare only to find that the toilet had flooded and she couldn't leave him. I have been dropping kids off before when one of them who had been fine all morning suddenly vomits all over my shoes - which then earned them a trip home with mommy for the day. That's where the great bosses come in. I've also been known to pick one up from school and bring them back to my office to finish getting a project done before I head home. I still look at other moms and wonder how they get it all done sometimes. I'm lucky that mine are still young and not involved in too many activities - I know that will all change in a couple of years though and we'll be trying to figure it all out then. |
