Attention moms of boys!

Question:
What do you do when your little boy has to use a public bathroom?

Choices:
Let him go in the men's room alone
Take him into the women's room
Ask him to hold it

It depends on where we are. My son is 7 now, and at some places I'll let him go to the bathroom alone if we're right there. My husband will go with him at other places, and sometimes I still make him go with me to the women's. But letting him go alone at all is a very recent change - until he was over 7 I made him go with me to the women's. So I voted for the going alone option, but it really does depend on where we are.

This one is a little easier for me. Jonah is only 4 1/2 so he is not allowed to go by himself yet. He can go in the stall by himself, get his underwear and shorts pulled up ok, and wash his hands, but I don't feel comfortable sending him into the bathroom by himself just yet - especially not into a men's room by himself.
